Executive Producer, Director and Screenwriter.  

Mariana has a bachelor's degree in Social Communication from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), and has studied Cinema at the London Academy of Radio, Film and TV (UK). In 2017, she completed the course "TV Writing Intensive" from Columbia University's School of the Arts (NYC). 

Mariana began working in the audiovisual market in 2008. Throughout her career, she has held various roles within the industry, having also worked with some of the largest advertising production companies in the south of Brazil. 

From 2016 to 2019 she was a producer and curator for "Mostra Ela na Tela", a festival that showcased Brazilian and Latin American films directed and starred by women. In the festival's 2019 edition, she was responsible for the partnership between the event and the "Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival" - LABRFF. In 2018, she was the executive producer of the "III Mostra Tela Indígena", a film festival focused on showcasing audiovisual productions made by indigenous filmmakers.

In 2019, Mariana moved to Rio de Janeiro and began working with theater productions. She directed the play "Câimbra'', presented in the fourth edition of "Ocupação Ovárias", an important festival that celebrates the works of female artists. She is also the director of the show "Elke Maravilha: the Parade of a Lifetime", a play that mixes the narrative structure of Rio's carnival with classic theater techniques -  currently in development stage.  

In 2023, she was the executive producer of the short film "Phytotherapy", showcased  at several film festivals in Brazil. In the same year, she was a producer in the short film "Só Penso em você", and worked in the art department in the short film "Pele de Coelho" - both in post production stages. She is also the co-writer and executive producer in the short film "Land of the Fireflies" - currently in pre-production stage.  

In 2022, Mariana became a partner at Loba Films.
